The Board are very pleased to welcome Willy Simon to the Company. As we continue to grow and develop the business his depth of experience in finance and banking will be a great asset.
Those of you who follow the technical press will have seen recent articles relating to our low cost four speed transmission. Vehicle makers need to provide low cost simple products for emerging markets whilst maintaining high levels of efficiency and ease of use. The Antonov four speed is ideally suited to this application and it is great that Roumen Antonov's original vision for his self shifting mechanism may now become reality.

Antonov Sponsorship 2007/8

Antonov actively supports three motorsport teams, A1GP Team Netherlands and the Lamborghini GT1 and GT3 Reiter Racing teams. The A1GP season has now finished but we plan to continue the sponsorship in the autumn.

About Us

Antonov plc is a business founded on the patented inventions of Roumen Antonov.

It was listed on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange in May 1995 and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in 1997.

Since then it has invested more than £30 million in research, product development and continuing innovation to bring its inventions to market by licensing them to customers.

The intellectual property assets of the business are focused on the automotive market, but will also be used in other industrial and leisure applications.

The Group has a strong R&D facility in Warwick, UK, which designs, prototypes and develops all types of mechanical transmissions.

Antonov manufactures superchargers for high performance aftermarket applications and is developing new products based on its patented 2 speed mechanical shift module.

It is also developing a passenger car 6 speed transmission for production in China. This will offer low volume vehicle makers the opportunity to provide a cost effective, world class automatic transmission option on their vehicles.

In conjunction these product development activities, Antonov licences its technologies. To support these technology licences we provide design, analysis and development support to our clients from our Warwick Technical centre throughout the product development process.
